From time to time the online slots providers release a game themed on non-living things in nature, with a subject hard to determine and Wild Crystal Arrows 3D slot is one of those. Somewhere deep down, in an underwater cave, some colourful crystals move around, colliding with each other every now and then, and that is all the action you will see.

The game is played at 15 paylines, but you are allowed to change the number. Wild Crystal Arrows was released by SkillOnNet near the end of 2014. The game features regular 5×3 layout with only 15 not fixed paylines. Symbols are very unimaginative; SkillOnNet simply took the standard card values and suits and splashed some make-up on them to give the crystallized appearance. The most you can get from them is 1,500 coins for 5 Heart symbols on an active payline and 1,000 coins for 5 Spades.

Scatter symbol is presented by a crystal stone that looks like a naval mine from the Second World War. Three free spins are awarded for one Scatter symbol that appears during the normal game, six free spins for two and 10 free spins for three Scatters. Each Scatter that shows up during free spins gives you one more free spin.

The only symbol that acts differently bringing to life this, otherwise very boring, game is Arrow. The Arrow symbol is Wild and it substitutes for all symbols with the exception of the Scatter symbol. When Arrow symbol shows up on the reels it won’t just go away in the next spin, it will rather stay, moving one space up, down, left or right to the direction that it is pointing. That, basically, means you will have Wild symbol on the reels in another two or three spins. It is possible to have 2 or 3 Arrows at the same time and if their moving results in collision (2 or 3 Arrows move onto the same space) you may get multiplied wins. Collisions on active paylines multiply the win according to the number of Wild Arrows that collide – 25 times for 2 colliding Arrows and 100 times for 3 Arrows.

There’s one thing in this game that deserves our applause. The Wild Arrow feature, with moving Wilds that award multipliers if they collide with each other, is an innovative and interesting item. However, that is far from enough to make Wild Crystal Arrows 3D slot entertaining. Small number of free spins with no additional multipliers won’t blow your mind as well. One more thing, the theoretical payout for this game is just 93.7%, so it’s really hard to find the reason to play it ever again.
